ABOUT
We use the tools. We also read the diff.
Awaiting Input is a small Australian label for people who write software for a living and have opinions about it.
We are not against AI. We use it every day. It writes the boilerplate, finds the off-by-one and explains the regex we wrote last year. What we are against is shipping code nobody has read, because a chat window said it was fine.
Hence the name of the club: Anti Vibe Coding Vibe Coding Club. Membership is open to anyone who has accepted a suggestion and then actually checked it.
Why the name
Awaiting input is the state your agent sits in while it waits for a human to decide something. We think that is the good part. The cursor blinks, and someone who understands the system chooses what happens next.
How the tees are made
- Nothing is printed until you order it. No stock, no landfill, no clearance sale.
- Printed in Australia on a black AS Colour Staple tee.
- White ink only. The design is the loudest thing about it, and it is not very loud.
Who is behind it
One developer in Australia, a print partner, and a checkout pipeline that was read before it was merged. Questions go to support@awaitinginput.online or the contact form. A person reads them.
