Privacy

Short version: we collect what we need to take your payment, print your tee and post it to you. No analytics, no ad trackers, no marketing cookies, no newsletter.

Awaiting Input handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains how, in plain language.

What we collect

When you order

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your shipping address.
• What you ordered: design, size, quantity, amount paid, and the order and payment reference numbers.
• The status of the order and its tracking link once it ships.

We never see or store your card details. Payment happens on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. We only get confirmation that you paid.

When you contact us

• Your name, email address, order number if you give one, and your message.
• The message is delivered to our inbox by email. The website does not keep a copy.

When you browse

• We run no analytics and set no marketing or tracking cookies. Browsing the site does not create a profile of you.
• Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. It checks your browser and IP address to confirm you are human. It is not used for advertising.
• The site remembers, for the current tab only, that you have seen the intro animation. This stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Why we collect it

• To take payment, print your tee and deliver it.
• To email you an order confirmation and shipping updates.
• To answer your questions and sort out returns or problems.
• To keep the records that tax and consumer law require.

We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information. If you choose not to give us these details, we cannot fulfil an order.

Who handles your information

We share only what each service needs to do its job.

• Stripe (payments). Collects your payment details, contact details and shipping address at checkout. Stripe privacy policy.
• Printful (printing and delivery). Receives your name, shipping address, email, phone number and what to print, then hands the parcel to a carrier. Printful may email you shipping updates. Printful privacy policy.
• Resend (email delivery). Sends our order confirmation emails and delivers contact form messages to us. Resend privacy policy.
• Cloudflare (hosting, security, database). Serves this site, runs Turnstile on the contact form, and hosts the database that holds our order records. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Overseas disclosure

These providers operate globally, so your information is likely to be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Your tee itself is printed in Australia.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

• Order records are kept for as long as tax and consumer law require, generally at least 5 years, then deleted or de-identified.
• Contact messages are kept in our inbox only as long as needed to help you.
• All traffic to the site is encrypted. Access to order records is limited to the person running the shop.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law lets us. Email support@awaitinginput.online. We will respond within 30 days.

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first at the same address so we can fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If what we collect changes, for example if we ever add analytics, this page gets updated before the change ships. The date at the top shows the latest version.
