MANIFESTO

Vibes are not a test suite.

We like the tools. We use them all day. This is not a protest, it is a code review.

  1. Read the code you ship. If you cannot explain it, you did not write it. You are just hosting it.
  2. "It works on my prompt" is not a release process. Neither is "the model seemed confident".
  3. The model is a colleague, not an alibi. The blame output will still have your name on it.
  4. Tests are how you find out. Everything before that is a feeling.
  5. Boring code is a feature. Clever code is a bug that has not been scheduled yet.
  6. Delete more than you generate. Lines are a cost. The tools made them cheap to write, not cheap to own.
  7. Understand the system before you change it. Context windows are large. Yours should be too.
  8. Stay in the loop. When the agent is awaiting input, that input is your job. Do it on purpose.

That is the whole club. No dues, no meetings. There is a tee.
